DOWNLOADING
YOUR AUDIO FILES
Our
online
store gives links for adding collections or individual tracks
to a virtual shopping cart. After you have added your selections
to your shopping cart, you will be automatically redirected to
Pay Pal's checkout system to complete your payment. After you
have paid, you will receive the following emails, which
will be sent to the email address you have on file with Pay Pal:
-
An email from Pay Pal confirming your purchase.
- Within
a short time, you will also receive a separate email
from fox@goddessdownload.com. This email will contain the links
you need to access and download your mp3 files. These links
will only work for 24 hours, so complete your downloads
as soon as possible! You will have three attempts to
download, after which the links will become inactive even if
the 24 hour period has not expired.
- To
download the files using the links in the email, click on the
link. A dialogue box will open, asking if you want to play (open)
the file or save it. You must save it to your computer
to listen to it in the future or to burn it to a CD or other
storage device.
Here's
how the dialogue box appears in the Firefox browser:

Here's
how it looks in Internet Explorer 6; other versions might be slightly
different:

In
both cases, select "Save to Disk" or "Save."
A second window will open up that will allow you to select the
location on your computer where you want to save the files. YOU
CANNOT SAVE THE FILES DIRECTLY TO A CD. You have to first
download the file onto your computer's hard drive, then burn the
CD from your saved copy.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If
you've received your Pay Pal confirmation but
don't receive Fox's email within a couple of hours:
- First,
be sure you're checking the email account you used to sign up
for Pay Pal!
- Next,
check your spam filters - often, email that is automatically
generated by an online system is interpreted by email programs
as spam, even if it's a legitimate message.
- If
the message is not in your spam filters:
-
add fox@goddessdownload.com to your email program's address
book.
-
contact Fox
and ask her to resend the links.
If
the links you received don't work:
If
you receive the error message:
Sorry, if you want this song you'll have to pay for it. Click
here to start shopping.
It's
possible the program you use to check your email has corrupted
the links. Copy the full link (using your mouse, highlight all
the text including http://, and hit Ctrl > c) from
the email, and paste it into your web browser (hit Ctrl>
v) and hit "Go". For example:

If
the problem persists, notify Fox and we'll send another set
of links or set up an alternative download area for you.
If
you have followed these steps and still have any questions or
experience any problems with your download, contact Fox!
